Limelight Community Take Over: Your community, Your say

Come along and join Limelight on the 23rd and 28th of March and 2nd April for our first Community Takeover Events. At these events, we want to have lots of conversations about how the wider community want to influence, be involved and shape Limelight’s future.

There will be great entertainment, fabulous food and lots of chances to get creative.

Limelight has had a great first year and we want to build on that success by getting as many different people as possible involved in our future direction.  You can drop in and out of the event and everyone is welcome. So, bring your ideas, bring your thoughts, bring your creativity and most of all…bring you.

Special Olympics Great Britain’s National Summer Games 2017

The next Special Olympics Great Britain’s  National Summer Games is the country’s largest multi-sports event for athletes with intellectual disabilities of 2017.

As our flagship event, it is held every 4 years and represents a huge opportunity to showcase the abilities of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, allowing them to compete at a national level, experience the personal achievement this brings, as well as enable them to make friends, travel and socialise.

Our 10th National Summer Games will take place in the city of Sheffield across a number of sporting venues between 7-12 August 2017.

Interpreting Solutions is delighted to announce our seventh birthday today on the 5th May 2017.

Over the last seven years we have supported over a hundred students thousands of individual clients, and delivered thousands of hours of support from last year alone.

A comment from the directors "None of the success our organisation has enjoyed over the last several years, would have been possible without the dedication from our team and the commitment to provide the best possible support to our Deaf and hard of hearing clients, commercial and HEI partners. From the bottom of our hearts we can't thank them enough for their hard work".
