Intelligent Student Support

We have a proven track record of supporting Deaf and hard of hearing students in educational establishments throughout the UK, through the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) Scheme provided via Student Finance England (SFE) grants, and audited on behalf of SFE by the DSA-QAG (Quality Assurance group) to ensure that the support is of the highest quality and meets the criteria of the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF).

We achieve this by ensuring that we provide the best support professional, be it a British Sign Language interpreter, a Specialist Support Professional (Teacher of the Deaf) or a Communication Support Worker (CSW), who has the prerequisites within the QAF and have the personal characteristics that match the studied course and interpersonal needs of our student. This sets us apart from other providers who base their operations on an allocation to fulfilment basis, we will always go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of our students.

Our student's satisfaction is ensured by the additional services that we offer free of charge, as we understand deafness in its essence and culture; we bridge the worlds that Deaf students find difficult to access. This can be done through help to remedy housing and accommodation issues or utility based issues such as sorting out broadband problems at home. We also take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and have supported many of our students in difficult personal situations, working with multiple agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the student.
